“Tampadelphia” is protected under Federal Trademark, and may be used only with the express permission of the owner. Tampadelphia retains counsel to protect this site and the Club against unauthorized use, and will pursue all remedies available to it.

Tampadelphia gladly cooperates in exchanging links and information with other Eagles fans and their sites to support the Philadelphia Eagles.

It has come to our attention that there may be some confusion over which club is Tampadelphia. There is now only one Tampadelphia. Tampadelphia meets at only one location, which is listed on this site. Please note:

In January 2004, our web links to tampadelphia.com on other Eagles fans sites were being changed, and a second Tampadelphia link appeared, which did not point to this site. At that time, we investigated and determined that someone without any ownership or authority of this site instructed the change of the links. In February, another Eagles fan club launched a hostile attack over our ownership of our name. Upon discovery, we retained counsel, who informed us of our legal claim to the name, the misrepresentations of the other party, and the violations of state statutes and federal law that the other group was participating in.

Our counsel then wrote to the other party, clearly outlining their violations, along with a cease and desist letter. A signed agreement is expected that clearly spells out limitations that protect Tampadelphia. Filing legal action is a certainty should this agreement be delayed or breached. We will address this issue on all fronts.

Although forced into taking legal action, we will follow up vigorously with all parties. Like any business, Tampadelphia will respond to protect the best interests of our fans, sponsors, associated entities, and owners when attacked.

In previous emails we mentioned bad leadership, ego, and greed as warnings of another group. We believe the above actions by this same group support that contention. Aside from these facts and the above proof on file with our attorney, counsel discourages saying more, pending further litigation.

Because of current legal violations that would create financial and other liabilities, Tampadelphia does not foresee any possibility for reunion unless the current leadership is changed.

We appreciate the job of our counsel, and warmly embrace them as part of our family. Tampadelphia is a successful venture, growing at a 100% plus rate each year. Web hits number in the millions. Our Eagles club has been in the media on radio, television, and print. While nice, that's incidental to our real focus . . . Tampadelphia is committed to the best Eagles game day possible for our members and guests. It promotes Eagles sportsmanship, fun, and camaraderie in a family atmosphere at a quality venue, without personal agenda.
